HELP! im getting my eyebrows waxed tomorrow and i need advice! im 13 yrs and am scared it will hurt BAD!?

dont worry. its over very soon and it makes ur eyebrow sooo much prettier! just relax. the first thing they do is they put this not hat wax on but warm wax on ur brows and then they put a peice of paper on the waxed part then they push that down so itll get all the hairs that was on the waxy part thing and then the rip ( that only takes like a second.) then they rub it so it feels better. and it doesnt hurt BADLY its just like a little smack (: ohh and dont worry after your done they hand u a mirror and ull be like oh em geee this is terrible ( thats only because their really red and they dont look to great) but dont worry. after about.. an hour.. i think YOULL HAVE BEUTIFUL eyebrows. First of all, DON'T PANIC. As far as waxing goes, eyebrows hurt the very least and I've had the underarms, legs, bikini, brazillian etc. done as well.





There are a couple methods waxing methods so it will depend entirely on what the person you are seeing prefers. My hairdresser applies a special wax right onto the hairs she wants to remove with a brush. When it cools she peels off the wax (without a piece of cloth) and voila, no hair. I find this hurts the least.





Another girl I saw used a roller and rolled the wax on and pulled it off with a small cloth. This hurts a little more but it is the same effect.





The good thing about an eyebrow wax is that it's one or two swipes and you are done. If you are really concerned about the pain, take an ibproven (advil) about a half an hour before your appointment. It will help with the pain, but it's really not so bad and it only lasts a minute or two.

Im 12 and 1/2 and i got mine done almost 7 months ago, it's not really that bad, its like shocking @ first but not bawling crying pain. but its not peaches n' cream! Um, they put some stuff( creamy) on your eyebrows and then put the wax on and then put the papery thing on the wax, hold it on there, and 1...2...3...rip! its soo quick you really dont have time to think about it. then once the waxing process is over they go around and clean up the eyebrows with a tweezer(not painfull) and thats it! but dont let them(eyebrows) get to long and hairy again so keep up with the tweezeing and you should be spick span, oh, and don't go right before like an event go at the latest possable time, because the area gets really red!
It's not really that bad. It hurts for a second but then it doesn't hurt anymore as soon as they are done. To reduce the pain, raise your eyebrow muscles up as high as you can right before they rip the strip off; this pushes the hairs out a bit so they don't have so much work coming out. It's much better than plucking every single one!
Oh! This is the easiest thing! I plucked for years and since I found waxing I have not plucked since. All they do is smooth the wax on. It kinda feels good bc it is warm. Then they smooth this little cloth strip over it. Then they pull your skin light and pull it off really fast, but as soon as they do they rub this oil on and it really doesn't hurt after they put the oil on. I think the shock of them pullin It off so fast is the worst part. They are red for an hour or so then it smooth sexy eye brows! Good luck!
i got my first was when i was 13 and it really doesn't hurt that bad. it's like a super fast little pinch and i am telling the truth. DON'T WORRY!!. also if it's your first time with it tell them you just want it to look natural and to follow your natural arch. and to know if they will be good at what they do look at THEIR eyebrows if they are nice then they will do a good job on you. i hope you look great!!
well it depends on who is doing it normally the will put the wax on the put on the strips pull the strips off , pluck away any stray hairs and normally apply some cooling or soothing lotion , to help with redness and stuff. It doesn't hurt like you think it will i would rather have mine waxed then plucked lol You'll be fine !
it kinda feels good actually. dnt worry im 13 nd i get mine waxed . first they put u in a chair, then they put this lyk medicine stuff on it then they wax it then they tweeze them then they put this stuff on it to reduce the pain. dnt worry. it doesnt hurt.
my friend did her eyebrows by waxing she said it just stung for like 3 sec. but it didnt hurt. and all they do is get some wax put it wear there gonna wax get a piece of paper stick it to the wax and rip it off fast. but it shouldnt hurt.

i was soo nervouse that it was going to hurt the first time that i got mine waxed but it really didn't hurt at all. i think that i was more scared than i really should have been
oh dont worry. im thirteen too. i got mine waxed for the first time at 11 and it was so not as bad as i thought. dont worry. it will be fine. just relax.
it will not hurt as bad as you think. if i was u i will just get them arched because if u get them arched it wont hurt a bit.
your first time is always the worst

just take an advil before and dont go if ure on ure period. ull be fine trust





beauty is worth the pain
the pain isnt that bad...you feel a little stinging for like 2 seconds then its over...
they just put liquidy stuff on then they put a piece of cloth and they rip it really quick. dont worry about it its really not that bad!!!!

yeah just ask for cooling lotion when your done it just stings like a slap at most
